The evening will consist of a screening of the Nollywood hit, “Taxi Driver,” and a book signing by Emily Witt, author of NOLLYWOOD: The Making of a Film Empire (Columbia Global Reports). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director of the film, David Oriahi, and Brian Larkin, Director of the Institute of African Studies; Professor of Barnard College; author of SIGNAL AND NOISE: Media, Infrastructure, and Urban Culture in Nigeria.
